By accessing or using the East Coast Telepsychiatry website, patient portal, or telehealth services (collectively, "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. Effective date: January 1, 2026.
Telehealth Services
- Telehealth services are provided by licensed psychiatric and mental health professionals authorized to practice in your state.
- You must be located within a state where your provider is licensed at the time of each appointment.
- Telehealth is not appropriate for all situations. In a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
- You are responsible for maintaining a private, secure environment during your telehealth sessions.
Billing and Payment
- You are responsible for all fees associated with your care, including amounts not covered by your insurance.
- Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a late cancellation fee.
- Outstanding balances must be paid before new appointments can be scheduled.
Patient Portal and Account
When you create a patient portal account, you agree to provide accurate information, maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials, and use the portal only for appropriate healthcare-related communications. Secure messages may not be reviewed immediately; for urgent matters, please call our office.
Limitation of Liability
